Trail Guide
Varrell Woods Conservation area is a town-owned piece of land in Rye, with a woods
road for a short hike and a rough trail leading back up to the
town forest for a
longer hike. This is an 18-acre tract near the Salt Marsh. Conservation Commission
members have blazed a trail leading from here to the town forest, and the trail,
with green blazes, follows the edge of the marsh.
